Laboriously, creakily rolling by,
Stressed, but stretching, amid a sigh.
A warrior wrestling to not let life just pass by.
Though his body would hardly cooperate,
He didn't let that compel him not to operate.
At top speed a slow speed, but it's his rate.
His rolling walker played the rhythm of his heart.
Though his journey be in fits and starts,
His lyrics proclaim, I shall live until I depart.
I know not what you're going through,
But from this fellow take a lesson or two.
Despite difficulty, do the best you can do.
No matter what's against you #keepitmovin...

Change...
People change and we have to change with them, for them, and for our own good.
Change is constant, compulsory, and challenging. As the seasons change, so does our lives have seasons of change. Though oft underestimated, unwanted, and uncomfortable, change is going to happen. Our relationships go through changes and we are oft caught off guard, sleep walking with each other, and bumping into one another through changes.
Time brings about physical, emotional, and even spiritual change. We oft want folk to stay the same in certain ways. Yet, time brings change to all. And we sometimes fallout and fall away from each other not recognizing change is taking place. We mishandle one another through changes, mangling relationships. Sometimes the person undergoing change is aggravated, burdened, and confused and at times depressed in not knowing or understanding what is taking place. And partners oft experience the same wanting to fix everything to go back to the way things were. It's not always that simple or easy and going back may be impossible.
It takes time to process. It takes patience to endure the process. It takes wisdom and grace to manage emotions and even develop some comfort in uncomfortable silence. It takes love, unconditional, undeniable, unwavering LOVE. It takes courage and hope and faith and strength. It takes all to be all in.
It takes God. HE knows what's happening. HE has seen change. HE has anchored hearts and homes through change. HE has piloted people through change. HE has strengthened people through change, fortifying faith. HE loves us through all our changes and the changes we have put HIM and one another through. If you are in the midst of a storm, a trial of change, seek God and let HIM guide you through. HE helps us make the best out of change. Helping us change for the better.

You are....
You are... To some you are the sun that warms and brightens their day. To some you are the courage they would like to display. To some you are the water that alleviates their thirst. To some you are the energy that gives them a burst. To some you are the ruler they would like to measure up to. To some you are a star they continually look up to. To some you are the moon that comforts them in their dark night. To some you are a competent counsel to guide them when things are not right. To some you are the epitome of life and love. To some you are an angel sent from God above. To most you may be just a nobody. To those that know and love you, you are their main somebody. You are...

A Time for Thanksgiving...
A Time for Thanksgiving...
Praise God for this Thanksgiving Day. And let us recognize everyday is a day we ought to give thanks for the Lord's tender mercies and loving kindnesses like life, health, strength, opportunity, hope in HIM, and the saving grace HE has made available to all who will receive it.
This day use the time to reflect on God's goodness shown towards you, blessings HE bestowed upon you such as the people in your life, the possessions in your stewardship, the progress you have made over time.
This day use not the time unwisely for do know time is also winding up and the days ahead may not be as long as the days behind. Therefore be wise in the use of the time you have left. Practice good habits, speak positively, act lovingly, forgive, and forge ahead. Grieve those gone on if you must, but rejoice in hope. This is a day to be better not bitter.
Pray and praise God as you enjoy your day thanking HIM for as well as it is. I thank God for Jesus, my family, my church family, and I thank HIM for you, my friends.
Peace and love to you and yours and a Happy Thanksgiving!

Shake yo weave...
Shake yo weave...
Where'd you get that do done?
Twisted, straight, curled to stun.
Examine the roots of your dimensions.
Excavate the place of your extensions.
Delight in the highlights, savor the texture.
Exalt the Master Weaver for the mixture,
Sewn in, grown in, it's all your story,
The patch work, the craft work, HIS glory.
A little of this, a little of that, it all gels.
Your life can be kinda like a hair's tale.
Shake yo weave...
#Random Mind twister... Our lives are woven together, bits and pieces from here, from there, to reveal who we are and all marvelously done by The Master Weaver, our Creator.
