Courage...
Have the courage to be you. Have the courage to speak up for yourself and others. Have the courage to stand alone if necessary. Have the courage to change the things about you that need to be changed. Hqve the courage to do what has never been done that is right and good. Have the courage to strive and struggle and overcome. Have the courage to try and if you don't succeed, have the courage to try again. Have the courage to get up when you fall. Have the courage to fall in love. Have the courage to love those that dislike you. Have the courage to listen to criticism and learn and grow from it. Have the courage to admit you were wrong. Have the courage to see needs and fulfill them. Have the courage to be God's and love and live for HIM even in a world growing more opposed to HIM. Have the courage to standout for Jesus.

Memories of
you…
So long
since I saw your face,
Yet, I recall
in detail every trace.I see your face, I hear your voice.
You'd still be here, if it were my choice.
I have no power to restrain the tears,
A flood flows for you’re no longer near.
Awash in overwhelming emotions,
My tears could fill an ocean.
But, I get a grip; I catch my breath,
And meditate on the memories I have left.
You and I, me and you, no more the two,
God, who loved you most and best, claimed you.
But, every now and then, of us, I reminisce.
The good times shared, I really miss.
Wishing you were here, at this moment.
Knowing that cannot be, I lament.
I love you, even more, I truly do,

From Dilemma to Deliverance...
From Dilemma
to Deliverance…
As the bright hopes of freedom—
Seem to cruelly burst.
An impossible obstacle before,
An incensed enemy behind,
The likely prospect of death.
Is seemingly all that is left to the mind.
Or at least in the eyes of those
Who could not see.
But he who had before beheld
A burning bush’s strange light,
Had become fully persuaded
In his heart of I am that I am’s might.
Troubled all around, the multitude did despair.
But one lifted up his eyes to heaven,
And lifted up his voice in prayer.
Surrounded, confined, and confounded,
He called on The One, The Almighty,
Who is magnificent and matchless.
And God did utter HIS decree,
Speak unto the people,
Tell them to go forward.
Stretch out your rod in faith.
And oh, what a way the Master did make.
The obstacle revealed an opportunity,
A step of faith, to take.
In the midst of the Red Sea,
A hallway, a sure path to freedom was paved.
And they played follow the leader and did rave.
From their enemy, from their despair,
From their bondage, they were saved.
Those once bound and burdened down,
To God their deliverer, freely sent praises up.

Red Sea,

Be Free...
Be free...
Be free from sin and shame, free from condemnation, from blame. Free from other people's misconceptions. Free from the devil's deception.
Be free.
Be free to walk in God's light, free to live in the power of HIS might. Free to share the love of Jesus. Free to tell the world HE came to save us.
Be free.
Be free from satanic shackles that bind, free to love God with your heart, soul, and mind. Free to serve God with your all. Free to daily hear HIS voice, answer HIS call.
