He Saw the Best in Me
While my errors were exposed,
He understood my vulnerability.
Even as my failures were itemized,
He, yet, looked beyond my liability.
As I groaned under my unworthiness,
He provided mercy for my fragility.
Whilst others divested themselves of me,
At Calvary, He invested in my possibility.
Although sin and shame covered me,
Faith in Him imputed to me respectability.
As the worst of me merited judgment,
He saw me in Him, with Him in eternal tranquility.
He Saw the Best in Me – Himself.
Jesus saves, sanctifies, and satisfies!
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6
