Made for Each Other
You and I were to meant to love,
Like a hand, snug in a glove.
As the sunset adorns the sky,
Fashioning a lovely sight,
You and I, just fit right.
Poles apart in some spots,
Yet, a perfect picture appears,
When one connects the dots.
Fiery tests put our love on trial,
We hurt, we healed—it was all worthwhile.
The hard tests of love softened edges,
Time has validated our pledges,
Proving Heaven authored our story.
God with us let us venture,
That our union ever be,
Like as fresh, lovely morning glory.
We were made for each other…
...they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Matthew 19:6
Two for 6/8 = Nineteen straight…
