The Measure of a Man

The measure of a man is known by where, when, how, why, for who and for what he stands. When his moment arises, he rises. Despite past failures, he stands. Despite present flaws of character, with character, he stands. Despite the name and number of foes, he stands. Despite the burdens and demands of standing, he stands. A real man stands for what is right, fighting the good fight for a just vision he has in his sight, and going after it with all his might—that’s the measure of a man. Real men stand with and for Jesus—the MAN. HE set the measure for man.
