My Dimensions

God declared me out of eternity into time.
In His might, He determined my height—
The elevations of my body, my mind.
My length, by His understanding,
He decided from my beginning to my end,
From first breath to death, into life’s next den.
By His wisdom, He willed my width,
Cast my measurements—
Structure, contours, distance across.
From deep within His discerning heart,
He developed my breadth, my depth.
He set, filled the span of my body, mind, soul—
Propensity and density.
He settled, shaped the scope of my heart—
Gave me personality, granting me identity.
I am whole, wholly by Him.
Inside and out, I am, by Him, tailor made.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Psalms 139:13-16
