Just for you...

I will cross the expanse of time and eternity, just for you. Give up heavenly glory to come down and suffer, just for you. Lay down my life, taking your place on the cross, and die, just for you. That you might live and so that I would show you beyond any shadow of doubt, my love for you is deep and true. And I did all of this, just for you.
Signed, LOVE... ‪#‎GodIsLOVE‬

Purpose in your purpose...

Be advised. God uses HIS servsnts in different ways, for different seasons, on different levels, to differing degrees. While all have purpose, all may not have the same purpose. Let each discover their own purpose in the Lord and fulfill it for the Lord. Be careful in thinking everyone should be doing what you do, how you do it, where you do it. Let God be God and use HIS people as HE purposes them. Even if it don't make sense to you.

I can't breathe...

I can't breathe
For the weight upon me
The weight of misunderstanding
The weight of distrust
The weight of disparate expectations
The positive, the negative
The self given, the world driven
I can't breathe
Shackled by sin
Shackled by men
Shackled to yesterday
Shackled to perception
Shackled to distorted images
Shackled to cold reality
I can't breathe
Frustrated by slow progress
Saddened by societal regress
Boggled by so much to digest
Ashamed of the lack of respect
Trying to walk circumspect
Always under the microscope
I can't breathe
Father God I look to you
My creator, my sustainer
Breathe on me, breathe through me
Breathe in me, breathe for me
Whenever I'm gasping for life and
I can't breathe

Grandma's Quilt...

Grandma's Quilt...

She took the broken pieces, some tattered, some torn, some well worn, sewed them together stitch by stitch and made a masterpiece, lovingly and beautifully adorned.

She took her time to get it just right, she sewed and she sewed, both day and night. Her endeavor of love was done with the utmost detail and dexterity, with all her might.

She took the broken pieces, some tattered, some torn, some well worn, sewed them together stitch by stitch and made a masterpiece, lovingly and beautifully adorned.

What I didn't know is that while she did sew, that cover was from an uncovering of her life, the time, the trials, the tears, the troubles, the toil, and the strife.

She took the broken pieces, some tattered, some torn, some well worn, sewed them together stitch by stitch and made a masterpiece, lovingly and beautifully adorned.

Whether jubilation or tribulation, it was all a part of her education. The school of life taught her to turn a mess into a blessing and pass on her lessons to the next generation.

She took the broken pieces, some tattered, some torn, some well worn, sewed them together stitch by stitch and made a masterpiece, lovingly and beautifully adorned.
