You are deeper than a manmade mirror reflects. There is a well within you that mere men could never inspect. Live not by the shallow judgments of your or other people's limited vision or just plain blinded eyes.

Who I be...

Conceived in the midst of a fertile womb

Spouted out, seeking my moment in the sun 

Had to learn to hold my own amid the crowd

Hunkered down, buffed up, and blowed out

Endured many storms, losing parts of me

Withstood floods that surrounded my feet

Bent, didn't break; leaned, didn't fall

For some, I was a sight to see

Some mused of various things I could be

Used at other's convenience

Took up residence within my space

Ran over me, ran around me, picked my fruit

Like the seasons, I went through change

I've been pruned, cut so I could grow out

Shedding stuff along the way added to my stay

I've matured; I've endured; Secure being me

Stronger, rooted, grounded, just like a tree...

Tough it out, tough it up...

Tedious tasks are trying 
A test of focus and will
For struggle to yield success
It begins at the bottom of the hill 

Don't let difficulty deter you from pursuing that which brings righteous delight. The payoff will be worth the pain.

Rise and Shine...

Rise and Shine, Beloved. 

For who dares make light of small beginnings? Zec 4:10

Be wise. There are some who say never settle for less than you deserve. In some matters this may fit the bill. But not in all things. The Father may grant you a little break that will  burst into your big opportunity. Little starts can end in big finishes.

Rather than just going by what everybody be saying, you are better off praying.

Don't make light of humble beginnings. Be grateful. Take the opportunities God makes for you and make the most of them. Gratitude in your attitude can increase your altitude.

Worthless words, woeful to the head
Pour not forth speech dour full

Know your place

Beloved, be careful trying to prove you got the right stuff to the wrong people. God has not called us to impress but bless. 

Don't set out to prove you are deeper than others or that your knowledge is higher. Doing these things highlight that you don't yet know that it's not about you. 

Sometimes to prove what you know, you prove what you don't know. Step back and let God take the lead. It's not about you, but JESUS...

Lord help.

Love talk...

Love talk...

Believe it or not, some folk don't know how to love you. Just because they are grown don't mean they know how to handle their own at love. 

So you'll have to teach them. That is, if you know how to be loved. Love is mysterious even to the experienced. #hmmm #Selah 

But there is a Teacher we can turn to and learn from ~ JESUS. And there is a book we can get some pointers from ~ The Bible. And there is some power available to help us carry it out ~ The Spirit of God.

It takes God who is love to show us what love can do and it takes God who is the epitome of and the power to help us understand, know, live and walk in love, too.

Help us JESUS

Marriage Matters

Beloved we don't marry people so they can pay our debt or so they can help us live a certain lifestyle. 

Marriage sewed together for selfish reasons will unravel in due time. 

Marry because you so love the person that you want to spend the rest of your days sharing, caring, learning, and growing with each other through whatever may come your way. Being committed to honoring one another, giving of yourselves to meet each other's needs for each other's good and to the glory of God. 

Lord help us.

Rise and Shine...

Rise and Shine, Beloved. 

Be devoted to each other like a loving family. Excel in showing respect for each other. Romans 12:10 ~ 

I declare today 'Show Appreciation Saturday'.  

~ Love on the people in whose lives God has placed you and express your gratitude to them for the privilege of being a part of their lives. Find something good to commend them for and let the love fountain flow. 

Today let your ATTITUDE be that of GRATITUDE. 

And Thank the loving God who awakened you to a new day's light and has given you a divine invitation to everlasting life.
