Rise and Shine, Beloved...

But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life! Jude 20-21

In a time of vexing trials, darkness, and anxiety, it is so easy to lose sight of what’s most important. It is so easy to be distracted, deterred, and detoured from righteous practices, patterns, and perspective. But don’t let these trying times compel you to cease pursuing HIM that came from Heaven to earth pursuing you.

Stay determined to stay devoted to HIM that is your soul’s deliverer. Daily, let your soul feast on a hearty meal of the Word of God that your faith be fortified. Add to that the powerful practice of praying in the Spirit, yielding yourself to the Spirit’s leading and feeding of your heart, mind, and Spirit. Allowing God to direct you by HIS wisdom and strength.

Keep yourself rooted and grounded in the love of God, unmoved by what the masses are doing, assured and secured by what God is doing. God is love. Those born of HIM have HIS love flowing through them. Let brotherly love continue, love one another as Christ has loved you, despite a growing culture of partisan division and hate. Obey HIS truth because you love HIM so.

The reason you do these things is that you got a living hope in a risen Christ, who was dead, but behold, HE now is alive forevermore. In HIS mercy, HE is coming for you to bring you into HIS eternal presence where you shall forever dwell in everlasting bliss—love, peace, and joy.

Therefore Beloved, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord as you await HIM. Keep looking up, Jesus is coming soon. Hallelujah. To God be the glory…

Arm your children with truth, wisdom, light, understanding, and love. Schools are spiritual war zones. Not everybody is on the Lord's side. Keep your child and your child's school/s bathed in prayer.

Trust and obey...

Trust and obey HIM. Where HE leads, follow, even if it is to a desert place. Don't look at what you don't have, but consider HIM who has you. Offer you and all you have up to HIM. God can turn your wasteland into a wonderland, take a little and bless you a lot, and then take the fragments and make a great feast. Oh taste and see that the Lord is GOoD. Make HIM your All and All by giving HIM all of you. HIS favor be yours...

The Lord over your heart should be Lord over your mouth, over your home. HE is Lord over your job, over the bedroom, over your wallet. HE is Lord at the kitchen table, at the mall, in the car. For you Christ-lover Jesus is Lord over ALL that concerns you.

Today we are more apt to believe the mere declarations of politicians, accept the unsubstantiated claims of terrorists, defend the opinions of celebrities, and question and even ignore the authority of God's word. We are provoking the God we should reverentially fear above all. And we are inviting divine discipline...

Just another day that the Lord has kept me. Just another day that the Lord has kept me. HE has kept me from all evil, with my mind stayed on HIM. Just another day that the Lord has kept me. I'm so glad that the Lord, HE has kept me........
