How can I hold my peace?
You have rescued me because of your mercy,
Frustrating my enemy’s plot to frustrate me.
How can I hold my peace?
You granted healing when I had ill health.
You saved me, securing for my soul eternal wealth.
How can I hold my peace?
You favor me to prosper in the works of my hands.
Yet, You fittingly discipline me to obey your commands.
How can I hold my peace?
You hear me when I cry out and wipe away my tears.
Then lovingly bless me, turning my groans into cheers.
How can I hold my peace?
You fill my heart with joy giving me reason to dance.
I shall ever thank You for giving me another chance.
How can I hold my peace?
You set my heart to beat to the rhythm of Your potent word.
Let me not hold my peace until, of Jesus, multitudes have heard.
But if I say, "Forget it!
No more God-Messages from me!"
The words are fire in my belly,
a burning in my bones.
I'm worn out trying to hold it in.
I can't do it any longer!

Psalm 30:11 (KJV) You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, 12 that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever!
