Do Your Thing

Do Your Thing

Do your thing,
That thing God birthed you to do.
That thing God birthed in you,
Do it without fail.
Do it well.
Do your thing.

Do your thing.
Do it right.
Do it with all your might.
Do it with humility,
With grace and civility.
Do your thing.

Do your thing,
Even if haters hate,
Even if no one celebrates,
Though enemies and obstacles be vast,
God’s purposes for you, in you will come to pass.
Do your thing.

Do your thing,
Though the unknown rouse your fears,
And before you be heartache and tears.
Though the peak you must climb be high.
The only failure is not to try.
Do your thing.

Do your thing.
Someone is looking for you,
To be a light to guide them through.
They are waiting for you to rise,
Fulfill your promise in brightening their dark skies.
Do your thing.

Do your thing.
Let no one state,
“He waited too late.”
Let it not be said,
“Her dream is dead.”
Do your thing.

Acts 20:24 (New Living Translation)
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.

Do Your Thing – God created you with purpose, faithfully fulfill it.
Do It Right – Seek God’s will, obey His word.
Persevere – No matter the tests and trials that will come, you stand!
Don’t Get Sidetracked – Let nothing or no one steer you astray.
Do It Together – Fulfill your role working in unity with the body of believers in Christ.

I Owe Jesus
