When the Wind Blows...
When the wind blows as a heavenly breeze,
Our soul, in sumptuous delight, rests at ease.
The wind of the Spirit satisfies our soul’s pleas.
When the wind blows, there is revelation,
Illuminating secret matters veiled in isolation.
As the dust settles, out, comes, key information.
When the wind blows, it brings change.
The symphonies of our lives rearrange,
Swaying us to move to new rhythms, strange.
When the wind blows, it grants opportunity,
To praise God who answered our importunity,
In Calvary’s currents that crafted new community.
When the wind blows, it awakens jubilation,
In weary travelers in ships on the sea of desolation.
The fresh wind of the Spirit in your sails highlights salvation.
Anoint afresh, revive us, Holy Spirit. Let Your winds blow…
Acts 2:1-4(MSG)
When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.
