The God of Equal Access I
The Lord our God is a God of equal access.
He accepts whosoever, His name, will confess.
In the beginning, God made both the male and female.
In the end, He shall judge both by His word, His just scale.
Man is not superior and woman is in no way second-rate.
God gave each a harmonizing role in which to operate.
With holy intent, He made both, designating form and function, too.
Let us not be deluded by wandering astray with the worldly view.
A man can get no closer to God than any woman can.
Both are essential in the achievement of God’s plan.
Whether male or female, God righteously has no favorite.
His love is for both, alike, so let both sexes savor it.
Instead of us being in unwise, ungodly competition,
Let us instead learn and value each other’s God-given disposition.
For, the Lord our God is a God of equal access.
Whoever walks uprightly calling on Him, He promised to bless.
Romans 10:9-13 (Amplified Bible)
9Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. 11The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed. 12[No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith]. 13For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.
