I Am an Overcomer II

I Am an Overcomer II

I depend solely on God,
Affirmed by His refining rod,
Managed by His Spirit’s prod.
Adversity stalks my every way,
Necessitating earnest prayer each day.
Obstacles be wary; watch out.
Victory, I boldly speak out.
Energized by my Lord’s assistance,
Ready, discerning armed with persistence.
Challenges call for willing contenders.
Obstructions put off mere pretenders.
My Jesus greatly champions me,
Empowering me to sweet victory,
Rejoicing gloriously over every difficulty.

I Am an Overcomer

1 John 5:4-5 (Amplified Bible)
For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?

The Road Ahead

The Road Ahead

Prepare your heart.
Ask God’s guidance.
Verify your position.
Evaluate the obstacles.
Develop worthy goals.
Write your vision.
Invest in prospects
That promote growth.
Hoist your view.
Optimists dream big.
Pessimists think small.
Profitable pursuits most
Often challenge all.
Risks dare men
To strive forward.
Undeterred, unleash potential.
Notwithstanding the hurdles,
Imagine the possibilities,
Trusting in God,
You spring ahead.

The road ahead is paved with opportunity despite all obstacles for those whose ways are marked by persevering obedient faith in the Lord.

(Psalm 18:29-33, 36) - 29 In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. 30 God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. 31 For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? 32 God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. 33 He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. 36 You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping.

Use Your Time Wisely.

Use Your Time Wisely.

Make time to share.
Take time to prepare.
Awaken time to care.

Time wisely spent will payoff.
Time misspent has no tradeoff.
Time is too precious to be killed-off.

Right now time is running out.
Now is not the time for self-doubt.
Now is the time to act, to go all-out.

Because time is of the essence, dare not to regress.
There is no time like the present to do more, not less.
The time is ripe for projects that produce progress.

Comprehend that because of the times you will be hated.
Consider that in these times your efforts may seem negated.
Call to mind that as you suffer, in time, you shall be celebrated.

The end of times is very seriously nigh.
It is a matter of time before Jesus returns from on high.
When He audits your time management, how shall you reply?

That you acted in love to give hope to those whose hope was dim?
That you took time out to tell sinners that real refuge is only in Him?
That time heals all wounds but sin, which is curable only by trusting in Him?

Use your time to show and tell who Jesus is to you, both Lord and Savior…
By the power of God, one day at a time be tenacious at righteous
living, be informed that you may gain knowledge to make smart choices and
that you may inform others, mobilize with others to do good works to improve
the lives of mankind, and show empathy towards all.

2 Corinthians 6:1-10 (The Message)
Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don't squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us, I heard your call in the nick of time; The day you needed me, I was there to help. Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don't put it off; don't frustrate God's work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we're doing. Our work as God's servants gets validated—or not—in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we're beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we're telling the truth, and when God's showing his power; when we're doing our best setting things right; when we're praised, and when we're blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die; immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.

I Love You

To My Darling WIfe
I Love You

I am intentionally
Learning each day
Of how I can better
Voice my feelings
Explicitly so that
You would know
Our hearts are one,
United ever more.

Happy Anniversary

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you… Philippians 1:3

Larry, learning to love…
P.S. I owe Jesus for dying for me
And sending you to me to be my wife…
