What Life is Like
Visible but vanishing…
Aromatic and yet evaporating…
Purposeful nevertheless passing…
Oncoming however outgoing…
Rousing as it silences…
James 4:14 (Amp) Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air].
In Christ life does not truly go away, it just gets better!
Revelation 14:13 (Mssg) I heard a voice out of Heaven, "Write this: Blessed are those who die in the Master from now on; how blessed to die that way!" "Yes," says the Spirit, "and blessed rest from their hard, hard work. None of what they've done is wasted; God blesses them for it all in the end."
